Installation of LaTeX on Window.

To install a basic TeX/LaTeX system on Windows, download and run this installation procedure.

Step 1:
Install latest MikTex from the following link:
https://miktex.org/
>Download>Installer>Download     

For example, you will get your download from the following link directly:

https://mirrors.nxthost.com/ctan/systems/win32/miktex/setup/windows-x64/basic-miktex-2.9.7269-x64.exe

 >After downloading MikTex, double click the .exe file (say, basic-miktex-2.9.7269-x64)
>accept the MikTex copying conditions
>Install MikTex only for me
>Install MikTex to default folder location suggested by your PC
>Preferred paper: A4 and Install missing packages on the-fly: Yes
>Next
>Start
>(after completion) Next
>Select Check for updates now: Next
>Uncheck Tell me more
>Close

Important:
Once MikTex installation is complete, open MikTex Console (by writing and searching its name in Search)
>MikTex Console is already running: Ok
>Updates
>Update now
>(once update is completed) MikTex Console needs to be restarted
>Ok

Step 2:
Next, install latest TexMaker from the following link:
https://www.xm1math.net/texmaker/download.html
>Windows 10
>Desktop msi installer for windows 7/8/10 64 bits
For example, you will get your download from the following link directly:
https://www.xm1math.net/texmaker/assets/files/Texmaker_5.0.4_Win_x64.msi
Important:
(any previous version of Texmaker must be uninstalled before installing this new one).
>After download, double click the .exe file.
>Check: I accept the terms in the license agreement.
>Install
>Yes
>Finish
>Launch TexMaker when setup exits.

Note:
Keep internet connected during this whole installation process, so that various packages and fonts required by MikTex/TexMaker are downloaded/updated.
